Bubukaka Kayo (Bukayo)

As I saw the tidbits of you, my mouth started to ponder. What is it like to taste you? To grind you in my watery-mouth, to masticate your delicious parts. Bukayo, you make my mouth ponder.

This delicacy from grated buko mixed with brown sugar and carefully cooked in a pan, topped with crushed nuts. As you take one, you’ll taste the sweet, nutty extract of this delicacy. As this sweet, mouth-watering coconut tidbits slip into your mouth, you’ll feel the hard-like-stone texture of it.

Beneath its taste and texture of it, you’ll savor that freshness of the coconut and caramelized sugar. As you continue to chew, you’ll feel the pleasure in every bite. Just the right quantity of the sweetness, the coconut’s taste and nutty flavor that are gently slipping into your whole mouth down to the deepness of your throat. With a smile on your face and an opened mouth, mapapabukaka ka sa sarap.
